So fucking what? Let me explain something to you. That works for the movies because they are (for the most part) carefully choreographed so the lightsaber doesn't turn into a nerf bat. You know, what it's been in every video game where it makes an appearance. I don't want fake ass scorch marks printed on wall textures while my character mimes hitting around an opponent so he can beat him to death.

I'll settle for bloodless dismemberment, that's fine with me. Otherwise, the lightsaber is broken gameplay-wise until someone attempts to make it do at least its core function correctly. I'm not even going to get into how many other games have done the telekinesis/gravity gun stuff in a more viscerally compelling manner overall because at least they got some of the feel right for the pushing and throwing.

I can't recall any Star Wars game moving the genre forward in any possible way, that this demo doesn't immediately crash and is ok to look at is a tremendous success. I'd like to be able to force push walkers over a cliff too, but a fruity little qte is very livable. It's not Super Bonbad Racing is what i'm saying.


The demo can't even play by its own rules (tie fighter = a ok, walker REQUIRES CUTSCENE QTE AFTER NERF BATTING). After all of the promise of "unleashing" you, this game is evidence that nothing new will come out of the license (as you say) until George Lucas is dead. It used to piss me off to no end to play a perfectly serviceable RPG like KOTOR and watch my character backflip furiously with his fucking sword waving everywhere but through his opponent.
