Yeah, people talk shit about Modern Love, China Girl, and Absolute Beginners but they are cool. You've reminded me to put Bowie on the music section of my internet dating profile. Surely that omission must've been what's killed the interest! Now I'll be rolling in the bitches!

The Asian from the 'China Girl' music video was a star on the New Zealand version of 'Dancing with the Stars' (other stars included politicians and retired rugby players (NZ on air, baby!)). Our country is too small for that shit but we never learn. That video was her only claim to fame so it was awkward for everyone concerned.

She was ugly then and is worse now (how could Bowie have fucked that up? The lyrics to China Girl make it sound like he knows the deal). Whenever the host asked about her partner's dancing performance, she'd nervously say some variation of the joke, "He was good, but he's no David Bowie!", which is retarded because David Bowie looks and dances like shit and her handsome professional Latin dance partner would have pissed all over him, yet he just stood there grinning agreeably like he was no David Bowie. Man, I watched a whole series of that fucking shit.
