Yeah the isometric sucks that way, that's why i mentioned it, but did you not love those cyberspace hacks? I was mesmerized, even though Moonpod didn't explore half of it's potential, it's still great fun. Graphics and story take the cake too. Never played TDR, but definetly plan to, thanks to your list. ;)
BTW, regarding the Little Fighter suggestion, i meant to compare it with Golden Axe of course.
Anyway, here's some more stuff for you (not sure if they'll all fit into the independent games category, definitely not all are freeware):
Free Orion slipped my mind on the last post.
Fate is a pretty cool Diablo-style RPG.
Larva Mortus is a cool zombie schmup with some RPG elements.
Harvest Massive Encounter is an awesome strategy game.
Depths of Peril is a Diablo Clone with some good differences.
Devastation Zone Troopers is a nicely done 3D shooter.
Magic Stones is great if you enjoy collectible cards' games.
Empires and Dungeons is an entertaining little strategy game.
Nuclear Ball is the best breakout game i've ever played.
Westward 2 is a great strategy game.
enjoy.
and let me know if you actually like any of these. |
