Did you (Mischief Maker) really need more than the built-in campaign and Challenge mode to fully explore the game's mechanics? Granted, it is indeed a short game, but for me the last stage of the Challenge mode was the perfect end for it. Once I bested those last few wolves unarmed, any more ass-kicking would just be a victory lap--and pretty much every reasonable combination of enemies, weapons, and environments shows up in the stages I'd already played, so why would I want to take my victory lap anywhere else? There's hardly anything left in the game's tiny, awesome engine for the Temple mod to add except bugs--the maps in the mod seem designed primarily to showcase the crappiness of fighting in enclosed spaces and atop complicated structures. Some of the rabbits appear to have their armor cranked way up in the retarded style of infinite-resource Starcraft maps, and even the story is convoluted and flat. This mod is crap and it does not belong in your list! |
