You'll be fine, you scamp. Look at me, laid off two months ago, and just this morning I turned down a job with the Russian mafia. Reason: the money sucked, no benefits. You'd think the largest, deadliest and most powerful criminal organization in the world would have a better pay structure. Maybe higher up the ladder they do, but for legal staff, nah.

Just pat yourself on the back for having savings to fall back on during this tough time, QB. Downsize a bit, go to Starbucks less. Write more! I love your writing. That's your ticket out of a mediocre life, right there!
