ALIEN ABUSE **1/2 by Ice Cream Jonsey 10/07/2009, 10:39pm PDT I love Abuse - it is one of my favorite indie games ever, but this port is merely OK. Not the port's fault, it's just that the controls suck. There's a thumbpad on the left, and you control the angle of fire with your other finger. I don't really have a solution. The graphics are excellent, and the save-on-exit feature is very handy. (Abuse is the first game I saw insta-save-on-exit for, and I immediately came to expect it on everything for the iPhone.) This really is a great port otherwise, and I sort of wish that there was a way to hook some external controller to the phone for it. But I know that will never happen because Steve Jobs hates videogames and I must stop teasing my imagination. ICJ
