So how fucked is Nintendo? by fabio 04/28/2012, 1:22pm PDT The Wii's mass appeal peaked with Wii Sports, and there's no way in hell the Wii-U is going to be a success. The traditional Nintendo plan of falling back to the handheld market when a console fails? Taken over by mobile phone games. Why buy a shitty 3DS game for $40 when you can buy an equally shitty one for $5? When was the last time you even saw anyone in public playing a Nintendo or Sony handheld?
