Massively overrated puzzle platform with quirky artstyle and MEANINGFUL story about chasing after a lost loved one.
Deadlight has that setup for a story, but you can just ignore it as long as you don't read the optional diary pages (the writing is pretty bad anyway). The only reason it's getting hate is because it has detailed graphics instead of watercolor shit and everyone is dying(!) to declare that zombies are cliche.
To give you an idea of the faggot who hates Deadlight...

Environments are deep and detailed, but once again wasted. You can't exactly explore into the background or foreground in a 2D platformer, can you?
Deadlight has all the style, substance, and gameplay you could want, with none of the originality you need. The word "cliché" never left my mind, even for an instant. If you loved Limbo and want to recreate that experience, you could spend $15 on this, or you could just play the game you already own and have a much better time.
THIS 2D PLATFORMER HAS A BACKGROUND ALSO IT'S NOT LIMBO!
