And that's just finishing the helicopter chase segment.
"5 minute segments" was just shorthand for firing the game up, falling in a spike trap or a misjudged jump ("is that platform something I can jump on or just background? Oops") or a stupid hunt the slingshot target mini-game before I remembered I had better games and quit.
Agree that the good parts end way too quickly. The price of such gorgeous environments?
What really gets me is I could understand the awful sewer level if it was just some quick lazy way of padding the game out, but the backgrounds continue to be laboriously detailed even there. All that effort put into a terrible segment that is objectively worse than the zombie levels. Why fucking bother if it takes the same amount of work?
The new term for this shall be "The Bayonetta effect" |
