I was consdering Windows 11 but I just can't stand it by laudablepuss Today, 9:09am PDT The constant popups to use edge, or to backup my computer using onedrive, the ridiculous slowness on even high-end hardware, the way windows no longer remembers window sizes and positions, all the stupid shit. Side note it's not a windows thing, but still Microsoft: the Minecraft launcher doesn't know where the usable area of the desktop is (MS has never been able to determine this apparently) and opens partway off the right side of the screen. Move it to the left, and next time it opens, it opens an inch to the right again. And then further to the right the next time. It's bananas lol. And oh yeah, the constant complaining that my Minecraft account is different than my Windows Store account. MICROSOFT SAYS THIS WILL NOT STAND!!!! >: [ Why do we let companies get away with this shit? Anyway, when I get the motivation, I'll make sure everything is backed up and probably load Mint linux on there. Mudahar (sp?) recommends it, it seems fine. What could possibly go wrong.
