I mentioned the story being a little thin, and the reason for that is that the entire middle of the movie is missing. We see the main character go from miserable bastard to intrepid Backrooms explorer, but then the next time we see him, he's a full-on raving lunatic Backrooms resident. That entire journey is missing. It could have spent less time showing people breathing heavy deciding whether or not to touch the wall and shown a little more of his descent into madness.
Maybe that'll be covered in the sequel. |
