I mean, I would put it on a list of top 10 horror movies of the last few decades by blackwater 06/12/2026, 3:06pm PDT I don't think Godfather is the right movie to compare it to, since the genres are just so different. One thing that Godfather did do better was have much more memorable music. I also want to raise the very real possibility that if someone made Godfather in 2026 you would not like it, because you would think it was too slow. If you can't sit through Solaris (1972) with a fine oak pipe and think "this is CINEMA", you aren't truly worthy. Or even just watch this shit which is free and also very good and do NOT hit the fast forward button or look at your phone once. I dare you. Those shots of a guy quietly walking through a field for 100 seconds are CINEMA, and your porn and dopamine-fried brain can't handle them.
