Wow. That was the most concentrated amount of pure awful I've witnessed since SB's suggestion that the admins start using Admin #1 and #2 as their screennames from now on. I don't "get" Creexul? What's to get? No one got that. And have you read his posts lately? The poor boy seems to have suffered some sort of meltdown because his work went unappreciated.
As for the rest, you're starting to sound like Ed Wood, in a bad way. "You hated my last article, well wait until my next one!"

I saved this for last because I think it's the crux of the problem here. I've never seen everyone here simultaneously attack en masse and be such pussies about it. Simultaneously means all at the same time. And I think the problem here is ownership. Yes, of course I complained about the lack of updates on OMM, about Chet's maniacal ruling of the forums, etc., etc. BUT SO DID YOU. And remember what Chet would say when we would rant about the lack of updates? Let me refresh your memory: "Fuck off. New content coming sooner or later." Not: "YOU FUCKING FAGGOT!! WE HATE YOU!! YOU SUCK, WHY DON'T YOU WRITE SOMETHING THEN, FAG?!!"
The difference now is that there's some sense of ownership on this board. But honestly, folks, if this is how you all react to a stranger wandering in and saying "This site sucks!" there's almost no hope for you. You've simply got to toughen up already. Granted, the next guy won't probably have as much info on all of you as I do (unless he spends one whole day lurking on the boards), but he'll say something to set SB and ES off, and if the rest of you go into full hissy fit mode like this they're just going to run right over you. I'm not doing this as some sort of service to Caltrops (I actually do think the site kind of sucks right now), but if you guys remembering where your balls are is a side benefit, so be it. |
