I thnk 'Shock and Awe' was just what was sold to the news outlets, and not really what they were planning. After all, why have a war plan published on page one of the New York Times? Shit, why not just email it to SHussein@Baath.org?
I believe any info released on that level to the media has been cleared (or even developed) by PsiOps. Its just like having a little remote control airplane broadcasting the sound of 50 tanks coming your way (something they did); you want to make your enemy think you are coming one way, and when they try to outflank you (or run away), you hit them with your REAL forces.
Remember that "Mother of All Bombs" they showed? Did they even use that, or was it just a propaganda thing? As I said, any info that we hear about needs to be seriously questioned for validity, or for motive. Either way, its probably not behind the curtain they are showing us. |
