I'm only on page one of the article, but these terms are being rattled off as if they're well-known. What are Ravenger Aliens? (hint: I don't really want to know). Is there more than one Predator? Why do they all dress exactly the same? I thought the Predator from the movie Predator was just some guy out on a hunting trip, not a soldier in an army of guys out on hunting trips.

So, how does any of this relate at all to the Aliens and Predators movies?

I am pretty sure that unless you count some of the fruity shit in Alien Resurrection the new species of Aliens are pretty much just your usual "we couldn't think of a plot so OMFG their DNA muterated and made them worser" shit. The Predators much the same re: species, although given that there are (apparently) comic book series for both there is probably some source where that crap could be found.
As far as the "more than one" Predator, definitely. They are supposed to be a culture premised around exploration for the sake of finding more challenging hunts and obtaining trophies accordingly, by which societal rank is apparently determined when they return. There were hints in P1 and the infinitely worse but slightly less gay "focus on Arnie's pecs" P2 of this, but they certainly made it somewhat clear in AvP with the Predator storyline.
Either way, I am sure this will end up being just like AvP 1 and 2, where the other two are fine for novelty value but running around screaming as a marine is the place to be.
