Apropos of this, one of the movie channels (Skinemax?) has been showing the uncut version of the movie, with the extra exploration scene at the beginning and the sentry guns later on, restored. Truly, this movie is king of action movies.

What's weird about the sentry guns is, they were in the original TV version. The 2nd-100th time I saw it, it was the tape I made from TV (commercials puased out, yes, thanks), so when I saw the video later on, we got to the end and I was like "...did I miss the part with the sentry guns?" Strange.

Much like the uncut versions of The Abyss and The Exorcist, the cut version is probably better. But I still dig that sentry gun thing.
