Devil May Cry (the sequel blows)

Gitaroo Man if you're at all into rythym games

The first Silent Hill (most brilliantly terrifying game ever)

If you're a survival horror fan: Silent Hill 2 (not as good as the original, but still good) and Fatal Frame (motherFUCK anyone who says the ghosts in System Shock 2 made it the scariest game of all time, Fatal Frame's ghosts leave them in the goddamn dust). Don't be put off by the fact that the resident evil series blows, these two are infinately superior and rely on much more than just things jumping through windows to scare you.

The first Metal Gear Solid game. If you must play its sequel, be sure to skip every single cutscene and codec conversation past the tanker (better yet, just stop once you get past the tanker) as it makes all the retardedness of the Star Wars prequels multiplied by the "deep" mumbo jumbo crap of Matrix:Reloaded pale in comparison.


If you're into wrestling games: Def Jam Vendetta

Ico (should be like $20 now)


Curst will hunt me down if I dont mention Dynasty Warriors 3. I didnt think it was THAT great, but fun for awhile.
