But too many reviews I see are essentially "This game SUX, 1 out of 10!" simply because the reviewer didn't like the game. The reviewer's "tilt" should be based not just on whether they liked it but whether they recognized it as a good product.

I don't know if that's the case in this IGN review or not. But I will say that too many of the webzines out there rely on volunteer reviewers who essentially find it more interesting to crap on a game because they can sound witty and superior in writing the review.
