All the analogies flying around over there lead me to wonder: were the Romans really all that better than the Nazis? I mean, both killed a lot of Jews, but no one seems to have the same aversion to playing as Caesar that they do to playing as Hitler, or even some anonymous German footsoldier. Serious question: does history support this particular prejudice, or not?
PS: I don't mean to offend anybody, I'm just honestly ignorant on this topic (it's not the only one). |
