Just me versus a stream of level 400 players, all playing Anwen with an all ranger/unicorn army every...single...game. I never saw any other configuration.

Elf walls are the second most annoying next to Wizards, but their units are a lot better. Wall resistant to attrition, unit shield mitigates the rest. Rangers can respond anywhere until hero spell ends the game.

What I want to know is how the motherfuckers were able to store up turns? It looked like they just passed their turn and stored up until they had over 10 moves, hitting critical mass with infinite setups and chains to unicorn block anything I had set up in the meantime.

Has there ever been a balanced HoMM game?
