Immediately it occured to me that practically every developer builds the graphics engine around Nvidia harware and works their way to ATI boards at some point later on. I think. Anyways, I nabbed the most recent driver from their site, with which mine was concurrent, and reinstalled it.

I then decided to the the game one last go-around, fully prepared to make a concession if I could have a chance to get into it. I was about 40 minutes into a game, wandering mostly, until I finally caught up the the action and joined my first major battle. An assaulting force of around 50 for so baddies were charging our warpgate, and I gunned down two of them before I was overcome by this feeling of detachment and waning interest from what I was doing. In the middle of a firefight I stood motionless as I activated the chat console to ask "does this game ever get fun?" and, swear to God, as I hit the enter key CHHHHHHK!**BLUESCREEN**REBOOT*.

I mean fuck, Sony. It was just a question.
