Just kidding.
I recall that post was a backhanded jab at Zseni for posting shabby reviews just before, combined with a forehanded thank-you to Zseni for introducing me to oink about a week before.
I went to some trouble over the formatting. It looks like Unix but is cygwin, a Unix toolset for MS Windows. I used it because I had to make a script to remove the non-music directories from by incoming bittorrents, and then left the dates in so that people could see most of them were dated 3 or fewer days before the post itself. Get it? It was impossible for me to have heard them all. I recommended music I had not even heard! I'll do it again.
Beneath the gag is a powerful and important subtext: I don't have use for music reviews (anymore) and neither should you. It was always a dubious business, writing about music; in an age where the download time is shorter than the reading time, why even bother? If you're not comfortable deciding for yourself (and there's no shame in that), pick someone cool and have them give you a shopping list.
