WHAT'S THE BEST MP3 PLAYER, CALTROPS? PRESENT YOUR ANSWER IN THE FORM OF YELLING STUFF.
I've looked into it a little, but it's hard to find the information I really want. What I'm looking for:
This is primarily going to be used in my car. I have a 1 hour one-way commute, and I'm tired of changing CDs in my car all the time. I don't even buy CDs anymore! I have to buy blank ones and burn a million CDs! What is this, 2001? The iPod has an attachment you can buy that finds a dead radio frequency and broadcasts on that so you can play songs through your car stereo, so it is currently the frontrunner. I don't know if the Zune or other MP3 players have similar functionality.
NO FUCKING ITUNES. Amazon's MP3 catalog has become huge and cheap and it has no DRM bullshit, so fuck iTunes. I'd use iTunes if and only if I didn't have to tie into the gay store and I can just transfer whatever I buy off Amazon onto the player without any hassles.
It also has to not crash for 3 days because of a leap year.
I don't have any hipster brand loyalty or a raging hateboner for everything Microsoft, so anything that fits those requirements and won't make me want to pitch it through a window is just fine. If there's any additional perks of owning one or the other, then HOORAY! |
