Enshittification by laudablepuss 05/15/2025, 9:21am PDT I'm back at work (more or less) and I'm just ASTOUNDED at how terrible the new version of Microsoft's products are. Outlook, if you sort by From and then type a letter . . . nothing happens now. It doesn't jump to the Js or whatever. Everything has popups that you have to click "got it" to get past. SO MANY OF THESE. It's relentless! Teams can't tell if I'm available or not. Like clicking in teams and typing a message doesn't wake it up and set me as available. Windows 11 is shocking garbage. Just incredible. This is a decent machine but it takes 20 seconds for photo viewer to open up. Windows no longer remembers your window size settings. Used to be if you left something maximized or set to a certain size and shape, it would keep that setting when it reopened. That's history. The default fast startup shit (that Windows 10 also had) drains laptop batteries pretty quickly if you leave em in a drawer for a week or two, which happens for classroom or presentation laptops sometimes. This shit really starts to wear on me. Why are we putting up with this SHIT?
