I don't get it either. The worst thing they have done that I can remember in the last 5 years is the "feature" where - in Teams - if people write more than 5 lines in a row, Teams forces you to "Click to Expand" what was said. Instead of just showing it like literally every single other messaging app in the whole of human history.

There is no way the thousands of people at Microsoft who presumably have to live with Teams think this is ok. I mean, I guess it is. But it would not surprise me if there was a developer's option to just show the goddamn text.

But let's say there isn't. They all live with it. None of them can get through to the designers of Teams to tell them how fucking stupid the feature is, and how stupid they are. None of them can get through to the Teams team to at least make it a fucking toggle in settings. Just thousands of people who could create this change who are bringing their mouse up to Teams and clicking to expand dozens of times a day. Just living like that, like dumb fucking wastes of space.
