The opposite problem here: the theme doesn't pop if you're playing to win by Saruman 07/08/2026, 7:48pm PDT The ring track, representing the tense chase to see if the Nazgul catch the Hobbits before they reach Mount Doom? One player advancing doesn't hamper the other, and there's barely enough ring cards for just one player to reach the end, forget both. What's going to happen is only the Nazgul or only the Hobbits will move at all. The other player will stand still all game, discarding just enough blue ring cards for gold to deny the other player victory. Hobbits jog to Mount Doom to throw the ring in while Nazgul pillage the Shire all game. or Hobbits get stoned at the foot of Misty Mountains all game. Will the Nazgul catch up before the armies conquer the world conventionally?
