Not that my opinions have much weight but:

1. There is, and needs to be 2 types of admin here: one to admin the actual business of serving up web pages (i.e. SB's BSD box) and one to admin the content that is served by the web server. These are two separate tasks that more often than not require two people to perform. I think SB is a good admin and I'm not sure that anyone else here has the expertise/time to do what he does, as such I don't see any reason why he shouldn't continue to admin the apache server. This does not mean that he should/needs to be a mouthpiece for the site.

5. I like the forum titles. When I first came to OMM, I thought it was fun to figure out the topic for each forum. Just as long as there isn't a lecture describing the purpose of each forum every time someone posts off-topic through ignorance. Also, the non-literal titles allows for the forum to evolve as the topic of the day changes over time (i.e. operation hammertime (hopefully) wont be needed in a few months and could be recycled to another topic). Either way though, I don't think it's a huge deal, but I certainly don't see it as a stumbling block for new comers with an IQ over 40.
