The reason why a lot of us aren't posting responses is we feel (probably rightly) that we don't have any say over what happens to this site... much as I don't feel that I Need Clarification does. It's not my damn site. Who the hell is Fullofkittens? He doesn't contribute any of his resources to the site, all he does is lurk, talk about bands, and flame someone occasionally. If he thinks this site should be changed, he should get his own fucking site.

That goes for everybody that hasn't contributed an article. Zseni got herself banned because she's a stupid bitch, oh well - I guess the people that *really* run the site got sick of her crap. John Cable is Zseni's strapon buddy, and now he's crying foul (or, rather, "Chet! Cheeeeeeeettttt!") and he wants to leave. Mmkay. I'm sorry to hear that, I wish he wouldn't go. You "real" caltrops posters are having a major explosion and it's worrisome for those of us part-timers who enjoy the site (when it doesn't suck), but I guess I assumed that when you were asking for a response to yours you were only really asking the full-timers.

For the record:

#1: SB's life would be a lot happier if he stuck to bullshitting and let ES do the admin-talk. There are some major assholes here (Hi, INC!) and since he's been too revealing about his personal problems he's never going to be able to post something about admin without a major battle. ("SB:'I decided to change the way nicks are stored in the system. No one is affected but me.' INC:'I guess everyone can see now why SB is incompetent as an admin. Barbie, did you forget your meds?' Creex:'Thanks a lot, Chet. Fuck you.' SB:"No, FUCK YOU!" and so on.)

#2: Yes. But there must be some way of self-policing this, rather than making it policy. I guess we could add a rule that anyone that bitches about the way the site is being run is a fag.

#3, #4: Yes and yes.

#5: I like the obscure forum titles. It's not hard, at all, to figure out what they mean. When I came here in February, after I found out this was the post-OMM haven, I knew exactly what meant what in less than 2 minutes.

Everyone who visits this site on a regular basis should be allowed to give his opinion. Why the hell not, as long as its constructive and a potentially good idea.

On further consideration, maybe demanding that SB step down as admin was too harsh. I don't know. If the site really needs two admins, there obviously isn't anyone else who can do it except the two guys who already are. But this type of shit is going to go on and on forever, and I guess that's just going be part of the character of this site, whether anyone likes it or not. I guess I'll just learn (or re-learn) to like it as well.
