Picked this up on sale by fabio 10/24/2013, 1:25pm PDT Plot is weird rip mix of Homeworld and Nexus: The Jupiter incident. Too bad they had to copy Homeworld 2's "Home planet on the verge of destruction? Later, dudes! Talk to you at the end of the game!" Pretty fun. Great music. Even I beat the 4th mission on the first try so that reviewer who took 20 is retarded. I don't think machine guns are any better against shields than plasma guns. It just looks that way because machineguns are a slowly, steadier stream of damage and shields take less hits to deplete than armor. Plasmas are only faster if you manage to land every single shot in a burst. It's looking like you only ever want rockets in the missile bays. Guided missiles are a crutch against fighters but rockets are mandatory against large ships.
