Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning’s gimmick was that enough activity in the zone triggered a “public quest” showdown with some big monster. If you participated and got enough points you got a lame-ass goodie that was indistinguishable from all the other goodies. And this was considered the BEST WAY to get gear of any kind. If anything, I think the PVP has more in common with WAR, as the first battleground for 10-20 consists of a game of 10v10 Kill the dude with the thing
Rift’s work/reward ratio is a lot better.

Ice Cream Jonsey was on to something when he suggested migrating the front page to a WordPress setup. Unfortunately, as is the eternal story of Caltrops, it ultimately went nowhere. Until now.
The previous Caltrops content has been archived in the first two posts of this installation, meaning they will always be the first item when viewing all Articles or all Reviews. Meanwhile the forums, as ever, remain the entire point.
Anyway, there you go. The future is now, get onboard with the winning team, long live the new flesh.
